I really think that we won't know just how big of a precipice we are on until we look back at it in 50 years.

I think the privacy thing is quite interest.

There will probably be a lot more ‘online’ alias’s appearing.

I see the web as creating a true global village.

In the old day we lived in tribes and everyone knew everyone else’s business.

Then society got so big but communication didn’t keep pace, and it was possible to have privacy.

With the web, communication has caught up with the spread of humanity, and now we all know each others business again.

There will be less distinctions drawn by country and more distinctions based on fashion, or ethics system, or what brand of deodorant people are using.

It really is a powerful message contained in the video, the ramification of Tim Berners-Lee`s creation has yet to be fully realised. It will have a profound effect on the social fabric of our planet, if we just hold off destroying it for a minute.
